The ‘Text for Tommy’ campaign is to raise funds to build a laboratory within the new Beatson TRC in memory of Tommy Burns. We are asking donors to either text the word ‘Tommy’ to 70099 to donate £1 (plus their standard network rate) or to complete an online donation form .

Tommy Burns was a well respected football player and manager. Tommy died aged just 51 from skin cancer. One line from his obituary in ‘The Scotsman’ was ‘He stood for everything good in life’.

The Tommy Burns memorial lab will be a permanent tribute to the much loved football legend.
